Our platform facilitates job postings, talent discovery, and professional collaboration within the film and entertainment industry.

3. User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Types

Team Member: Individual creative professionals
Company: Production companies and organizations
Guest: Limited access for exploration purposes

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of our platform, you agree to:

Provide accurate information in your profile and job postings
Use the platform only for legitimate professional purposes
Respect other users and maintain professional conduct
Not post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
Not use the platform for spam or unauthorized marketing
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Respect intellectual property rights of others

5. Content and Intellectual Property

User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the platform
You grant us a license to display and distribute your content on our platform
You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content you upload
We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies

Platform Content

All platform features, design, and functionality are owned by TeamForFilm and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. Job Postings and Applications

For Companies

Job postings must be legitimate and accurate
You must honor the terms stated in your job postings
You agree to handle applicant data responsibly
Discriminatory practices are strictly prohibited

For Team Members

Applications must be truthful and accurate
You agree to honor commitments made in accepted applications
Professional conduct is expected in all interactions

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the platform, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your information.

8. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
Posting illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and creating, requesting, or sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Attempting to hack, compromise, or disrupt the platform
Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
Collecting user data without permission
Commercial use outside of legitimate job postings
Circumventing platform features or restrictions

Our Child Safety Standards apply to all users and content and explain how to report a concern.

9. Platform Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time. We may also update these terms and will notify users of material changes.

10. Limitation of Liability

TeamForFilm provides the platform "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes but is not limited to damages from job arrangements, content issues, or platform downtime.

11. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes:

Users are encouraged to resolve issues directly with each other
We may provide mediation assistance but are not obligated to resolve disputes
Legal disputes will be governed by the laws of Canada
Any legal proceedings must be filed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

12. Termination

Account termination may occur:

By user request at any time
By us for violation of these terms
By us for extended inactivity
Upon termination, access to the platform and user data may be removed
